Ukrainian actor and TV host Pasha Lee was killed while defending his country.
Lee, 33, last week joined the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his country from Russian attacks that have been ongoing since February 24. He was killed on Sunday in Irpin, under shelling by Russian forces occupying the city west of Kiev, according to local reports.
The actor had shared photos of himself in military uniform on social media. In a post on his Instagram account on Saturday, Lee wrote: "In the last 48 hours, there is an opportunity to sit down and take a picture of how we are being bombed, and we are smiling because we are going to manage and everything will be UKRAINE. WE WORK!!! ».
Born on July 10, 1988 in Yevpatoria the actor was not known in France.
He starred in the comedy Meeting Of Classmates in 2019, and in the action film The Fight Rules in 2017. He had been a host on the DOM channel and had performed a stunt in The Lion King and The Hobbit, Sergiy Tomilenko, president of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, said in a Facebook post. In 2021, Pasha Lee starred in the drama TV series Provincial. On social networks many voices have been raised to salute the death of the one who saw, like thousands of compatriots, his destiny shattered.
RIP another beautiful soul murdered by lawless Russian invaders. We will never forgive them. And will never forget.

The Associated Press reports that on Sunday Russian bombing continued in the suburbs of Kiev, including Irpin, which had been cut off from electricity, water and heating for three days. At least four civilians were killed in the bombing near the Irpin Bridge as they tried to flee the fighting, the New York Times reported.
Since the beginning of the conflict with Russia, Ukrainians have seized weapons to defend their freedom.
